Member cleanup

Remove inactive members

Kick members who have gone quiet for weeks to keep your group active — free to see, one tap to clean, or automatic on Pro.

What it does

Limzo counts members who have not posted for a chosen window — 2, 4, 8, or 12 weeks — among the members it has seen. It kicks them, never bans: a removed member can rejoin any time with an invite link. This is the alive-but-silent counterpart to removing deleted accounts.

Free: see and sweep

Every plan sees the quiet-member count in the weekly admin report DM, with a one-tap Remove inactive members button. Nothing happens automatically — you decide, and you tap.

Pro: automatic

Pro and Community groups can turn on a recurring auto-sweep in Limzo Mini App → Reports → Inactive members, so it runs itself. Off by default. You pick the inactivity window, and can have Limzo post a heads-up in the group a day before, so anyone quiet can send a message to stay.

Who is never removed

Admins and trusted members are always exempt, and so is anyone who posts again before the sweep. Limzo needs the “Ban/restrict users” admin right to remove anyone; without it the button just explains what is missing.

Why kick and not ban

Kicking keeps your member list honest without punishing anyone — the door stays open. It is the gentlest way to turn a number-padded group back into an active one.
