Clear out the members who stopped showing up.

A member who joined and never spoke isn't doing any harm, but they aren't doing any good either. They inflate the number newcomers judge your group by, they drag down every average you look at — messages per member, share of members active this week — and on large groups they crowd the member limit that real, interested people could occupy.

Clearing them is not about punishing anyone. It's the same instinct as clearing deleted accounts: make the number on the tin match the community actually in the room, so your analytics describe real people.

The clock is simply the time since a member last posted. Pick your threshold — the default is four weeks — and Limzo counts everyone whose last message is older than that. Admins are never counted, trusted members are never counted, and deleted accounts are left to ghost cleanup, which handles them separately.

One honest limit, and it is Telegram's rather than ours: bots cannot read a group's full member list. Limzo knows about members it has seen post, so someone who has never written a single message since Limzo joined is invisible to it and will never be counted or removed. In practice the sweep finds the people who took part and then drifted away, which is exactly the group you want to review.

Group boosts don't work the way channel boosts do. A channel needs the same number of boosts as any other channel to reach a given level; a group's requirement grows with its member count, so every account that will never read another message quietly raises the bar for the members who actually show up.

Clearing the dead weight means the boosts your community already gives go further. Group levels are what unlock a custom emoji pack that anyone can use — including members without Premium — along with the group's emoji status, custom wallpapers, and free transcription of voice messages for everybody. Sweeping quiet members alongside deleted-account cleanup is the cheapest way to move that number.

Seeing the count and clearing it yourself is free on every plan, in the same weekly admin report DM that carries your group's numbers. There is nothing to switch on and nothing happens without your tap.

The recurring automatic sweep is a Pro feature, and it is off by default. When you do enable it, you can have Limzo post a heads-up in the group first, so anyone who has been lurking has a chance to speak up before the next run removes them. Removal is always a kick rather than a ban.
