Stars are the in-app currency Telegram uses for everything digital inside bots and Mini Apps — Limzo’s Pro plan (600 Stars/month), the Community plan (1,650 Stars/month), and member extras like flair are all priced in Stars. Telegram requires bots to charge for digital services in Stars, and it comes with a real upside: checkout, renewals, and refunds all stay inside Telegram. You never share card details with us — and you can cancel a subscription anytime in Telegram’s settings.
The key fact this page turns on: your Stars balance doesn’t care where the Stars came from. Bought, gifted, or topped up — they spend the same everywhere.
The usual way: buy Stars in Telegram
Tap any Stars payment button — like the upgrade button in Limzo’s Mini App — and Telegram opens its own payment sheet to buy the missing Stars on the spot. On iOS and Android that runs through the app store attached to your device; on Telegram Desktop and the web version it’s a regular card checkout. Prices vary a little by platform, since mobile app stores add their own markup.

No card that works? A friend can gift you Stars
Telegram has an official gifting flow: any user can buy Stars as a gift for another user, straight from Telegram’s settings or a friend’s profile. The Stars arrive in the recipient’s normal balance and work exactly like purchased ones — there is no “gifted Stars” restriction on paying bots.
So if cards don’t work where you live, the simplest fix is often social: a friend, community member, or teammate abroad gifts you the Stars, and you complete the upgrade in the Mini App as normal. The whole round trip takes a couple of minutes.
Pay with crypto on Fragment
Fragment is Telegram’s official marketplace, and it sells Stars for TON — no card involved, and usually noticeably cheaper than app-store prices. You sign in with your Telegram account, connect a TON wallet, and the Stars arrive in your balance within minutes. Fragment requires a one-time identity verification before purchases, and it can deliver Stars to a friend’s @username too.
If you already hold TON or USDT, this is the most direct crypto route — and the only official one. There is no legitimate “Stars smart contract” or unofficial Stars API; treat anything claiming otherwise as a scam.
Local top-up services
In many countries where international cards don’t work, local shops sell Stars for local payment methods and deliver them as a gift to your @username within minutes. These services exist because Stars gifting is official — they buy the Stars and gift them to you.
